Conversation with Patricia Robertson, Congregations magazine author
Whilst in the US Adrian Pyle and John Emmett conducted an interview with Patricia Robertson, author of the article' Being Made New' (pg 34) in the Spring 2008 edition of 'Congregations'.
You can listen to the audio file (MP3) by clicking on this link: http://victas.uca.org.au/main.php?pg=download&id=230965
It’s an insightful conversation, amplifying the article.
Very soon you will be able to read about Adrian and John's learning on the MPRU website.
Growth Corridor Cross Visit
We invite you to another cross-visit “tour” to explore the presence of communities of faith in rapidly expanding residential growth corridors. This is also an opportunity to share experiences of partnerships and collaboration in missional ministries by agencies and congregations in collocations. This time, faith ministries in the northern growth corridor in Whittlesea City particularly at Plenty Valley, Mernda and Laurimar will serve as the focus.

How can we help the drought affected farmers?
The Mission Participation Resource Unit receive regular queries from city congregations asking how they can help the drought affected farmers. Following conversations with many of those affected, we have summarised some of the best things you can do to support these communities.
Advice for congregational websites
Does your congregation have a website? What does it say to someone thinking about visiting you for the first time? We have prepared a list of tips and questions to ask yourself that will help make your website more than a drab noticeboard without requiring technical wizardry.
Talking Congregations
The MPRU have found the quarterly Alban Institute magazine ‘Congregations’ an ongoing source of inspiration and good ideas. Indeed, we are so impressed that we are running a pilot project distributing the next few issues to 50 ministry leaders across Victoria and Tasmania.
You can find out more about this project or read our cover sheet giving an Australian context to the articles.
